First annual meeting postponed until summer of 2021

The Beaver Dam Lake District commissioners at their July 8, 2020 board meeting passed Resolution 2020-2 regarding the operation of the lake district (click here for copy of Resolution 2020-2). The commissioners determined that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a meeting of the District’s electors and property owners could not be held in a safe and responsible manner in 2020 and that the District’s first Annual Meeting shall therefor be held at a date to be determined between May 22 and September 8, 2021. The initial three commissioners representing the electors and residents in the district appointed by the county board will serve until that meeting at which time the three commissioners elected by the electors and property owners in the district will take office.

The current board of commissioners looks forward to being good stewards of the water and land that compromise the Beaver Dam Lake and to collaborate with the BDLIA and other partners and stakeholders.
